What to Bring?

WHAT TO BRING ESSENTIALS AND GOOD IDEAS IN GENERAL

  • PHONE Charger for the car and the wall
  • ID + backup ID
  • Keys and a backup car key kept in different place
  • CASH – more than you think you will need cause you never know
  • Credit card/Debit card – shopping or emergencies
  • Proof of health insurance/AAA card
  • Tickets or printed email confirmation
  • Map or directions to venue!

PERSONAL

  • Condoms- getcha some
  • Sunblock
  • Insect repellent
  • Sunglasses and backup pair
  • Prescription meds
  • Chapstick
  • Bandannas
  • Watch- to keep track of time slots
  • Mirror
  • Hat for the sun
  • Lotion/Moisturizer
  • Deodorant or essential oils
  • First aid kit – ibuprofen, bandaids, allergy meds, etc.- good to have even though there is a first aid tent on site
  • Paper Towels & Toilet Paper – don’t count on the Porta-Pots staying stocked even though we will try our best
  • Glasses & Contacts + Extra contacts
  • Toothbrush & toothpaste
  • Grocery bags, large and small Ziploc bags – Really good stuff to have for so many reasons!
  • Beach towel for chillin’ and dryin’
  • Ear plugs
  • Small container (like a coffee can) for cigarette butts
  • Head lamp or flashlight
  • Cups – 1 for coffee and 1 large for drinkin’ (especially good for morning bloody marys)
  • Water bottle
  • Frisbee – can play with it and use it as your plate (multi use)
  • Fork & spoon or just SPORK IT
  • Pocket knife- Good to use for setting up tapestries and what not around camp!
  • Extra socks & underwear , Didn’t your momma teach you nothin’
  • Hat + wool socks + gloves + warm jacket (cause it’s FL and you literally just don’t know if it will be 50 or 80)
  • Flip flops or sandals
  • Comfortable closed-toe shoes. Two pair if you are clumsy and tend to fall into mud or puddles of water.
  • Clothes – layers its FL man!
  • Costumes and extravagant – this is a requirement to get wild!!!!!
  • Rain gear – I never bring rain gear cause I like to dance in the rain + I already packed that beach towel

CAMPING

  • Tent – & don’t forget your poles…. I’ve done it!
  • Hammer/Mallet for tent
  • Air mattress & pump or foam pad
  • Warm sleeping bag
  • Pillow , extra blanket(s) for tent.
  • Tarps for shade and/or to put under your tent
  • Shade structure/gazebo for shade & creating camp space
  • Ground blankets – that you don’t mind ruining
  • Duct tape
  • Camp chairs
  • Camp table
  • Camp stove + pots/pans/cooking utensils if cooking
  • Tapestries, wall hangings, & fun stuff for camp decor, get creative!
  • Black metal binder clips to hang stuff
  • Flag or camp marker (the will be no capturing of other camps flags allowed)
  • Lantern or other nighttime light source
  • Large black garbage bags
  • Cooler – Ice will be sold on site!!!!
  • Plastic bin(s) to hold all of this crazy crap that you are packing
  • Eco-friendly soap
  • Water for cooking, cleaning up and splash baths
  • Pot for boiling water

FOOD AND DRINK

  • Liquor – vodka mixes with everything and is especially good breakfast
  • Beer – more than you will think you need
  • Water – stash an extra gallon or so in your car for the ride home
  • Mixers – extra for plain drinking
  • Gatorade “It’s Got Electrolytes!” Or packets of powdered energy drink to mix in your water bottle or with vodka
  • Orange juice this is just good to have around.
  • Granola Bars or Trail Mix
  • Coffee don’t forget the pot
  • Group foods are fun, think snacks to hobo packs!.
  • Instant foods are good too: garlic rice noodles or cinnamon oatmeal
  • If you are doing heavy cooking, you will need many more cooking and meal supplies than listed. However if
  • you are doing heavy cooking, I assume you know what the hell you are doing and can figure this out on your own.
